We were all excited to return to school after half term and see all of our friends again.
In writing this week we have been reading the story of ‘Tiddler the story telling fish’ and writing his excuses down so he doesn’t forget the ones he has already used.
In maths we have learnt to use number lines to support our solving of addition number problems.
You may have noticed some taxidermy in Red Admirals, the children were showing an interest in British Wildlife after seeing pictures in wildlife magazines. These animals are a great opportunity for children to get a sense of the size of our local wildlife and compare the size of a mouse to the size of a badger as well as finding out more about them in our collection of non-fiction books.
