This week some of the KS1 and KS2 teachers attended a professional development event at Castle Mead School to help them research the impact of teaching phonics outside. They had great fun! The next day the teachers shared their new learning with the children in Merlins, Herons and Swans. The children and the teachers are looking forward to using the outdoor environment in their future phonics lessons.
